Chaos, at some point, will inevitably enter our lives, and while you may struggle to process your thoughts, there are plenty of ways to find your calm in the chaos.
These are the top 4 ways to find calm in chaos:
1. Meditate Meditate for a minute every morning before breakfast. Find a nice comfortable spot, set your timer, notice your body and feel your breath.
2. Journaling There is nothing more powerful than putting your thoughts to paper! Journaling helps you understand your thoughts and feelings while tracking your day-to-day. I see journaling as a form of self-care, a space for self-compassion.
3. Dance It Out There is nothing more freeing than cranking up the music and dancing all your worries away. Dance is scientifically proven to reduce cortisol levels caused by stress and release dopamine, a natural mood booster!
4. Karaoke How about combining the dance with some singing? This is a great way to build confidence, improve memory and showcase emotions. Even if you can’t stand your voice, it never hurts to have fun!
